Tythe Barn is in the beautiful village of Crowcombe at the foot of the Quantock Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has been our family home since 1960 and was converted from the original barn in the late 1940s. It stands in an acre of garden with stunning views of the Quantocks.
We aim to make you feel a valued guest in our home and offer two en suite rooms.
Double French bed with ensuite bathroom with walk in power shower, double basins and loo.
Twin beds with ensuite bathroom with free standing bath, walk in power shower, basin and loo. This room also contains a wall of books and a plasma with Sky for your entertainment.
Breakfast, freshly cooked, is served in the dining room or outside in the garden, weather permitting! I use local produce, organic where possible, and can accommodate any dietary requirements with enough notice.
There is also Wifi throughout the house to enable you to have a wireless connection to your computer at your convenience.
We have two children and two Labradors so if you are allergic to either, then this is possibly not the place for you! However, friendly dogs are welcome, although they must stay and sleep downstairs in the hallway.

We are walking distance from the local pub, historic church and church house and footpaths up onto the Quantocks.
The West Somerset Steam Railway can be boarded at Crowcombe Heathfield – a two minute drive away. We are also a short drive from Minehead and Taunton. There are many other attractions including a plethora of local pubs and restaurants for evening meals.
We currently charge £70 per night for a double room, £55 for a single. There is no charge for small children who sleep in the same room – I have a camp bed on offer should you need. Long stays welcomed – special rates available
